Welcome to Match Punk App! Throughout this document - “Terms and Conditions” - the terms "we," "us," and "our" refer to the App's developers and administrators, and the terms "you," "your," and “users” refer to you, the user of Match Punk App. We advise you to thoroughly read and understand these terms as they help you use the App, define the relationship between you and us, and your rights and responsibilities while using the App.

Account Registration

When signing up or registering an account on Match Punk App, you agree to submit accurate and up-to-date information, including a valid email address for which you will create a secure password. Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and activities occurring under it will be your responsibility.

Card Creation

As an App user, you can create digital versions of cards for your Tabletop Trading Card Games. These digital cards look like the physical ones you use in your games. When you participate in matches, the winner receives the loser's card as a reward. With the card creation, you agree to follow our terms and guidelines related to card creation. This includes ensuring that the card is accurate, has all factual information, and is not misleading.

Elo Rating

Every App user is assigned an Elo rating (calculating the players' relative skill levels), which helps in matchmaking and determining skill levels. Your Elo rating is tracked for each game group you belong to, including the "General" group. This rating system matches you with players of equivalent skill sets and enhances your gaming experience. Your use of the App will imply your agreement to the terms and conditions set by the Elo rating system. This includes understanding that your Elo rating may fluctuate based on your game performance.

Group and Event Creation

The App lets users create groups and events. The Group leader reserves the right to create, start, and close events. Events are not joined but group leaders create and manage them. The Group leader has also the right to cancel events and memberships of other members within their groups.

Group Forums

Only group members can access group forums, which act as discussion forums, fostering communication and engagement within each group. In the forum, App users can engage with other users by sharing match invitations, posting comments, liking them, and more. The discussion forum includes general discussions, game strategies, events & tournaments, feedback & suggestions, technical support, and more. Follow our guidelines when creating groups and managing events, enabling you to ensure you have a responsible manner when events are created and managed, and you and all members use group forums for constructive communication.

AI Detection

The App features an AI detection mechanism that identifies incorrect game results or scores inputted manually by users. Users found entering wrong data (game results or scores) may receive warnings or have their accounts suspended upon continual infractions. Your use of the App will imply your agreement to abide by fair play rules and your acceptance of the consequences of non-compliance. This includes your understanding that you may face disciplinary actions like account suspension if you intentionally manipulate game results or scores.

Person-to-Person Chat

The App does not allow person-to-person chat. Users can use groups facilitated by group leaders/administrators for communication. Engaging in group chats will enable App users to engage in discussions and coordinate matches within their respective groups. The App refrains you from person-to-person communication while providing the group with a communication channel. This includes your understanding that the App monitors group chats, suggesting that disciplinary action may result from inappropriate behavior or language.

Content Ownership and Usage Rights

Any data you put or content you create on the App, including your own information, digital cards, messages, and forum posts, remains your intellectual property. However, your use of the App will imply you grant us the right to use, replicate, change, adjust, publish, translate, distribute, and exhibit your data/content for the purposes of enhancing and refining the App.

Prohibited Activities

Violating our community guidelines or applicable laws made by the App users is obviously prohibited. Prohibited activities include but are not limited to harassing other users, cheating, hacking, or engaging in any form of discrimination or hate speech. The user may face immediate account suspension or termination if these rules are violated.
